Terri Neuhaus
Area VP of Managed Care Contracting
Terri has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Before joining Surgical Management Professionals, she served as a regional director of managed care with Surgery Partners, Inc. In that capacity, she was responsible for the ongoing enhancement of net revenue through strategic contracting negotiations, data analysis, budgeting, and business development and collaboration on behalf of ambulatory surgery centers and physician practices. Prior to Surgery Partners, Terri was with Cigna Healthcare as a contract manager facilitating the integration of Great West and Cigna for the Mid America market and Surgical Care Affiliates as a regional director of managed care working directly with operations and development for joint ventures and acquisitions within her seven-state territory, analyzing and projecting trends, negotiating payer agreements, and providing revenue and case projections annually to each ASC Board of Directors and their partners. She received a degree in Business Administration from Mineral Area College in 1985. Terri received the Cigna Champion Award in 2012, the CorVel Circle of Excellence Award in 2002, the 2000 3D Ace Award in 2000 for outstanding achievement and commitment in the development of the WorksSTEP program and the Ace Award in 1999.
